MakerBay joined hands with Christian Alliance SW Chan Memorial College to host a “Design Thinking & Woodwork Workshop”. Over 20 teachers from different schools started by brainstorming the needs of the school and teachers to enhance the working and teaching environment. Some said the computer screen was too low which caused neck pain while some pointed out it was difficult to collect all the tools used after classes.
After identifying the problem and deciding the solution, they also learned basic woodworking skills to make a prototype, for example, a team made a monitor stand that helps reduce neck pain.
