Woodworking is a craft that blends technology, art, and creativity, involving the use of various tools and techniques such as cutting, shaping, joining, and sanding. A skilled woodworker must not only be technically proficient but also have a deep understanding of the properties of wood and a unique sense of creativity to transform raw lumber into functional and beautiful pieces, such as furniture, architectural components, or decorative items.
Through a comprehensive Woodworking Induction, you will get hands-on experience with basic woodworking tools while creating a simple wooden product.
In this workshop, you will learn:
- Bandsaw techniques
- Precision cuts with the mitre saw
- Table saw fundamentals
- Creative shaping with the wood router
Event Details:
- Target: 16 years old and above
- Language: Cantonese or English
- Fee: HKD400 per participant
