The Seabin V5 – Marine Rubbish Bin

This sustainable marine rubbish bin is designed to remove rubbish from calm ocean marinas, yacht clubs and ports.  It is able to collect debris, micro and macro plastics, micro fibres and oil by pumping and filtering water into the device while it is skimming the surface of the ocean.

An estimated 1.4 tons of debris are captured every year and its running cost is only 3 USD a day. The seabin is also entirely made from recyclable material and is able to catch a bag which weighs up to 20 kg. There are currently 860 seabins with 3,612.8 kg of waste captured each day.
