“Mars mind and bodies, design for a multi-planetary species” exhibition at PMQ, Central Hong Kong

Poster_Mars_Mind

We are going to Mars.
From lower gravity, no breathable air, temperature colder than Antarctica, radiation, lack of water and soil to grow food, lack of communication infrastructure, lack of life… The first Martians will have to rely on the latest in science and technology to survive and thrive on the red planet. We will have to intentionally redesign our bodies and minds to survive and thrive in our new environment. Current progress in neuroscience, artificial intelligence, and genetics suggest the quantified human body is about to expand our ability… From 2020, all the way to 2100, the young designers imagine our future as a multi-planetary species.
