Why is MakerBay changing websites? What’s new about it? What are the differences between the old one and the new one? What are the functions? How do I use it?
Don’t worry, I’m here to answer your questions! (If I haven’t answered all your questions, look at the FAQs or ask away in the comments!) So firstly, why is MakerBay changing websites? Well, it’s because we’ve added better and more functions than the ones in the old website. Some of these new functions include online courses, private messaging, connecting blog posts to sustainable development goals, member pages and the best part is, everyone can contribute!
Writing Your Own Blog
Anyone can write motivational or inspirational blogs on this new website now! These blogs can be about anything from your own innovations or someone else’s that you find interesting, to blogs about endangered animals. They can be about ANYTHING you want. After writing a blog, you just have to press submit for review and someone from MakerBay will take a look at your blog. Your blog should be posted within a few days.
There weren’t any online courses before but there are now a wide variety of courses that you can take online and once completed, you get a certificate with your name on it. These courses can be especially useful in times like these, where physical courses aren’t available and running, they can teach you skills that you wouldn’t be able to learn online anywhere else.
You can now message anyone and connect with anyone who has an account.
There is now a member’s page. Here you can see all the members and connect with them or message them.
Connecting Blog Posts to SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals)
If you’re searching for a blog post about a certain SDG, you’ve come to the right place! On this website, there is a list of SDGs and when you press on one of the goals, all the articles/ blogs pertaining to that SDG will be there.
We are so excited to welcome the whole community on this new, much more powerful platform! YAY!!! New step is SIGN UP 🙂Recommend0 recommendationsPublished in
