We hosted a design thinking for teachers of Quarry Bay School with the theme of reducing waste on the campus. The instructors guided participants to walk through an innovation journey from defining the question to building prototypes. Among various creative ideas to recycle and reduce waste, a group of teachers suggested a smart sheep that can shred and melt plastics into new toys as students feed it with plastics. Sounds crazy but fun!
We would like to bring this innovative mindset to schools and empower educators on training students’ problem solving and life-long skills.
